A unique care centre for young people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions

Really Flexible Care offers an exciting and dynamic resource centre for young people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions, Severe learning disabilities and Challenging Behaviours. Our site consists of Wadelow Grange, Astry Lodge, our Garden Room, Horticultural Area and Paddock, all set in 3 ½ acres of countryside.

Wadelow Grange is a 4 bedded home for Looked After Children aged between 12 - 18 years of age. We provide 24 hour care and Education for 52 weeks per year for Autistic Spectrum Conditions and Children with learning difficulties, which includes the provision of ASDAN education.

Astry Lodge is also a 4 bedded home for short break residence aged between 12 - 18 and 18 - 20, which is also open 24 hours throughout the year.

All our rooms offer spacious accommodation with En-suite facilities. We also have 6 separate garden to choose from to allow the children the space to express themselves. Our Garden Room provides inside and outside recreational facilities with a formal and informal area for the Children to create their own activities. In addition we have a sensory room that can also be accessed 24 hour a day. Outside is a large play area with trampoline, swings and other outdoor activities.

We are also building up our horticultural area where we will be keeping small animals and growing our own produce for sell locally. In addition to this we have a large 1 acre paddock where the children to let off stream should the need arise.
