Really Flexible Care Limited was founded in January 2008 to cater for the needs of children and young people who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Conditions. (ASC, Asperger Syndrome, ADHD and associated co-morbidities).
Really Flexible Care aims to fill this gap by ensuring our service is staffed by individuals who are dedicated and knowledgeable in the principals and practice of quality care for young people with communication difficulties.
The superb countryside setting for the provision was guided by the need to offer a tranquil environment that is conducive and sensitive to supporting the diverse needs of our young people
We have carefully renovated the existing buildings and created structured homely living spaces which allow us to clearly define what is expected of the young people. The interior decoration of both The Lodge and The Grange has been thoughtfully completed to offer a low arousal and low stimulation atmosphere. Garden Room offers a more active and stimulating environment. The outdoor area is safe and contained, yet still offers a feeling of openness, so the young people have the opportunity to participate in more energetic activities.
We are proud to offer a new, exciting and dynamic resource, the aim of the company is to deliver a range of services, including residential, respite / short breaks and "learning for living" programmes for young people with learning disabilities, particularly Autism Spectrum Conditions aged 12 - 18 and 18 - 20
Our services will be complimented with the new and innovative Specialist Coaching packages aimed at working with the parents and families. Our recent registration with ASDAN and our use of WIDGITS. We also support young people whose behaviours present as a challenge and those with special needs who aspire to more independent living.
We pride ourselves in our ability to meet the unique needs of the young people in our care. We work in partnership with them, their families and other relevant professionals, adopting a person centred approach which identifies their needs and provides the appropriate care. We are able to offer qualified social work assessment and Parenting Assessments.
